In the Land of Faeries

A contest invisible to the human eye brews across the petal tips of a Chrysanthemum.

The Faerie Queen has decreed that flowers must be planted across the World Bloom, promising the champions of the effort a handsome reward.

Unable to settle on the single best approach for the task, the Faerie Guild has fractured into several sects, each of whom believe their own magic is best suited for the task.

In Chrysanthemum, you will learn the magics of the guilds as you travel across the World Bloom, gathering and planting seeds, in pursuit of the Faerie Queen’s reward!

Chrysanthemum is the first board game released by Chrysanthemum Productions. It was born when Sam and Chris, the founders of Chrysanthemum Productions, noticed that the company logo would make an interesting game board. Over the development cycle, this delightful light strategy game evolved into an adventure in an imaginitive and unique world hidden on the petals of a chrysanthemum flower.

Future Plans

While the Chrysanthemum board game has been well received so far, we were unable to incorporate all the story content we had planned into the initial board game release. We will be exploring the world of Chrysanthemum much more, and we are tentatively planning a comic book, a lore focused expansion for the board game, and a video game which will allow you to play the original board game with friends online and explore the world of Chrysanthemum in much more detail. The video game adaptation of Chrysanthemum will be available on Steam, and our Kickstarter backers will receive free access codes when it is available in beta release.
