Our Plan for Chrysanthemum Prerelease Demos

We are stunned and thrilled with how many of you responded positively to our opportunities to play Chrysanthemum before the game releases!

We’ve spent the majority of today developing a plan to ensure that the most people possible get an opportunity to play Chrysanthemum before our Kickstarter campaign goes live. We’ll be rolling out our demo opportunities in two phases.

The first phase will consist of private demos for collegiate affiliated tabletop gaming clubs. So far, we’ve spoken with representatives of gaming clubs from North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Cape Fear Community College, New York University, and Sarah Lawrence College. We intend to expand our collegiate demos to a few more schools. If you attend any of these schools and are interested in trying the Chrysanthemum demo before it is publicly available, please contact your school’s tabletop gaming club administrators for the locations and other details of our events. If these clubs choose to allow us to publish their demo event dates or locations, they will be listed on our Events calendar.

The second phase of our demo rollout will be public. We will place a single demo copy of Chrysanthemum in many local game stores across the east coast. These demo copies will be freely available to play. We will publish an article listing the local game stores where you can find Chrysanthemum at the time we are able to make these copies available!
